If you need to get previous date time.(i.e., current date minus 1)
SELECT CONVERT(VARCHAR(10),DATEADD(DD, DATEDIFF(DD, 0, GETDATE()), -1),120) AS yesterday_date
select DATEADD(DD, DATEDIFF(DY, 0, GETDATE()), -1) AS yesterday_date;
OUTPUT:
if today date 18-02-2016
yesterday_date |
2016-02-17 |
yesterday_date |
2/17/2016 12:00:00 AM |
